I setup a jail and added additional storage to it.
I'm trying to use zxfer in the jail. Zxfer needs to see the additional storage as a ZFS dataset. I could create a pool in the jail I guess, but that doesn't seem like the right way to do it.
Does anyone know how to do this? I'm not coming up with anything by googling it.

I can't think of a way to see the zfs datasets from inside the jail, but I'm not a jails expert.

I was told that you can run files that exist inside the jail from outside, so maybe that would work.

Also, is there a reason you are tied to using zxfer? The built-in multi-destination replication and snapshotting has improved the past couple months. Before that improvement, I was using zrep which is a simple script that can run without the need for a jail.
