I have an LSI 8708ELP controller ( 2 x 4 Mini -SAS ports) with 3 x Seagate 2TB drives (ST2000DM001) . MB is Gigabyte GA-K8NF9 Ultra. I know it's old, but that's the idea right?

In the Web BIOS, two of the drives show as 1.8TB (which I think is probably close enough), the third drive shows up as 930GB?

I tried swapping drives to make sure it was not the drive itself. It seems to be the card because whenever there are 2 drives (doesn't matter which ones) the capacities are ok, it's when I add the third drive is when it shows up as 930GB

Things I have tried:

- using different all 8 connectors
- upgrading the BIOS on the LSI card
- checking the firmware of the Seagate drive (no updates available)
- swapping different drives in and out to make sure it was not one drive
- running Seagate tools (SeaTools - which sees the drives as 2TB)
- looked at the LSi manual to see if there were any jumpers

Anyone seen this? Any help would be appreciated. Driving me crazy

Thanks
