Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.
I have a FreeNAS running on a USB Thumb-drive with the hard-drives set up in a RAID.
The USB drive was (unintentionally) removed and subsequently lost in transit.
Is the RAID configuration written on the USB drive or on the hard-drives themselves?
If YES, can simply I rebuild a FreeNAS configuration on a new USB Thumb-drive, and then let that read the RAID and access the data on the drives once again?
Many thanks in advance,
Hayden P.
