Keyboard not working

So I am trying to install FreeNAS 8.2. I get to the Console Setup screen and my keyboard no longer functions. Any ideas?

Is it a USB keyboard? In your BIOS, do you happen to have a switch for "USB keyboard compatibility mode" or "USB legacy compatibility" or some similar phrase? If so, toggle it to the other setting.

Or, if your machine happens to have a PS2 keyboard port, try using that.

I have looked in BIOS and no such luck on any USB compatibility settings. My next step was to try a PS2 keyboard. It also looks like it is failing in other areas that I thought might have to do with USB. During install I get a "(da0:umass-sim1:1:0:0): AutoSense failed" message that just keeps popping up.
