Jellyfin can't connect to server after upgrade

Hello all,

After the last upgrade my jellyfin server stopped working. It can't seem to find the server anymore?

I have the official community edition installed and the configs seperate. Never had this on core?

Running version: 10.8.10_1.0.7

Tried to rollback to previous version but seem to get the same error on everything I roll back now...

Any idea to get it back?

Hmm reinstalled the whole app, after a few days the same problem...
Also the CPU was running almost 100% after i stopped jellyfin it wen't back to 12%

Anybody got a clue what might be going on all the time?

I'm having the same Problem with the connection. I can acces the Jellyfin once and it works fine until I shut down my device which is using Jellyfin (e.g. Browser or FireTV stick). A reconnection to Jellyfin by the devive always fails. The only solution is to reboot Jellyfin. After a reboot of Jellyfin I have to register newly again, because all my data is gone. It seems to be that the User cannot be safed. My Folder where userdata should be safed is always empty. I think Jellyfin safes the Userdata only to the cache of the device which is connecting to jellyfin....or something like that.

Hope they can fix it soon.

I recently upgraded 10.8.10_1.0.8 and it seems to be working again, after reinstalling. Looked like some files where corrupted on the older version?

oh thanks. mine is still runing under 10.8.10_1.0.7

will upgrade and give a feedback....actual version is even 1.0.9

EDIT: can confirm under 1.0.9 everything works as expected

Be sure to remove the cache and cookies :)
