Hello All,
We have a problem with copying specific folder from our Storage.
When we try to copy the files from: \\UNC PATH
It always stuck at some point, Sometimes from beginning sometimes on 90%
After it stuck the the server/pc/vm from which you execute the copy job
need to be restarted.
Any idea what should i look for in the storage since i don't have any alarm , except following evnt log in loop below.
Please advice
Thanks

"mdns" to me sounds like a dns look up of some other host, (maybe a NTFS junction in the path) that couldnt resolve. If you go under the SMB services setup options, you can turn off "Hostnames Lookups" and see if that helps.

Do you have DNS setup correctly? It is possible that something is wrong in configuration. Do you have a fixed route listed but use DHCP to download configuration?

mDNS is multicast DNS, part of Zeroconf aka Bonjour, which is used to automagically name hosts without DNS.

Yep and with an incorrect DNS setup it will not work correctly.

The question about plugin's helps provide information if an invalid DNS setup has occurred.
