Hello,
I am in quite the mess here and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have freeNAS running in VMware 5.0. It has 3 vmdk drives presented to the OS, and configured as iSCSI device extents. After a reboot of the VM, now all of the device extents are missing in the FreeNAS web interface.
I am not experienced in any Linux OS, so this is looking like a problem that I do not know where to begin. These drives contained shared storage for other VMware hosts. While this is a lab environment, it contained lots of data that would be a complete disaster if it was lost. I have a copy of the original vmdk drives.
Can anyone help me through the device extents from the shell to see if we can get them restored?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
