Is there a way to issue a ZFS snapshot from PowerShell?

Hello,

I am working on a VMware / FreeNAS implementation in which it would be very helpful if there were a way to issue a snapshot of a given dataset via powershell. Is this even possible, or does anyone have any good ideas of how I might accomplish this?

i guess that powershell ( it's name is really an oxymoron !) can do a
"ssh <freenas> zfs snapshot <filesystem>" command

if not i's install cywin asap.

I ended up buying NetCmdlets which is a powershell plugin that allows for all kinds of communication within powershell including SSH.
