I can't seem to find any Intel Copper based 10G NIC card that is supported on FreeNAS 9.2.# doc. Do anyone know if FreeNAS 9.2.# support the Intel X540-T2 card?

Without knowing more details on the exact card, virtually all Intel NICs are supported out of the box with FreeNAS 9+. I'm not aware of any Intel NICs that any user has reported as not functioning with 9.2.0+. Unless the card has been released in the last 3 months or so, I'd expect that it would work with FreeNAS 9.2.0+.

According to Intel, the ixgbe driver is designed to work with Intel® 82598, 82599, and X540-based PCI-E family of 10 gigabit adapters/controllers under FreeBSD 7.2 or later. That driver is included in FreeNAS. If for some reason, there is an issue with that particular model, create a bug report at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here.

That is good information to know as I do not see the Intel X540 specific call out on FreeNAS supported list of devices. For the ixgbe driver, it only listed

Intel(R) 10 Gigabit XF SR/AF Dual Port Server Adapter
Intel(R) 10 Gigabit XF SR/LR Server Adapter
Intel(R) 82598EB 10 Gigabit AF Network Connection
Intel(R) 82598EB 10 Gigabit AT CX4 Network Connection

Thanks again
