I have successfully updated my freenas build from 9.1 to 9.2 but the IPMI tab doesn't appear to have on freenas GUI. Some people seems to have success installing without any problem.

Please help.

I followed the above instructions, IPMI successfully installed under Network Settings. Now I can see IPMI tab in freenas GUI, I gave my new password and hit OK, "IPMI failed" pops up.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Your input would greatly appreciated.

Is the IPMI device getting it's IP address using DHCP or did you assign it a static IP?

What IP address is the IPMI using?

It was assigned by the DHCP.

I think it's 192.168.1.14(x) .

Regardless (dhcp or static) it fails for me.. Nothing in logs.. There was initially I believe on 9.2.1.. Before upgrades to 9.2.1.x (looks like errors are silenced?)

Were you able to sort this? If not, do you know if a bug report has been made yet?

I've been unable to get the IPMI - FreeNAS intergration working.. Normal IPMI (access supermicro page via IP/Username etc) working fine.. Nothing in logs anymore..

Can you create a bug report then and post the issue number here. This is a new feature and it is quite possible something is missing in it.

I'll mark it as unscreened so it goes back in the queue. Can you provide the info asked for in comment #5?
