I had a flood in my basement where the server was.
I was able to get to the server before anything really happened.
Had it completely disconnected and upstairs for a week. My basement is basically off limits so I'm trying to reconnect the server
It boots no issue, gets to the main menu and shows the same old IP address. But i'm completely unable to connect to it from my PC (or anywhere)
through the ip. I can't even get to the MB IPMI. I suspect maybe the ethernet adapter has failed suddenly? Can I easily connect a Wireless Network card or adapter via USB?

What do I do? Its a Supermicro board (I don't know what happend to my signature, w/ my basic stats I'll find the details soon).
Anyway, I think the ethernet is on the MB, not a separate card. Can I just buy any random ethernet card and attach/then connect?
Is there some thing I can check to confirm the ethernet adapter is kaput?

Also I'm getting a repeating message about the UPS ("upsmon [1214]: UPS connect failed: Connection failure: Connection refused") that just keeps on repeating every 5 seconds or so. I have no idea where the UPS is at the moment nor whether it works or not.

Any advice on connecting to the server would be greatly appreciated.
