Hi guys,
Can anyone confirm that the Intel RS2WC080 card works fine with FreeNAS? Everything I've read (including FreeBSD stuff) seems to indicate it will but there is no definite yes or no.
The setup I intend to use is 8 x 2TB WD Red with Raid-Z2. FreeNAS 8.2 running as a VM in Hyper-V 2012 (hardware supports VT-d).
FreeNAS runs fine but I can only add 3 drives as virtual IDE (physical), added as virtual SCSI (physical) does not detect using the mainboard ports (IDE mode detects fine).
Thanks.
Edit: I should probably mention that I do not have the Intel card yet, looking to buy it once I'm sure it will work fine with FreeNAS.
