Import XML configuration file

Hi,

I had a 7.3 Freenas server, I tried to update to 11.3 but this attempt failed!

I installed on a new machine Freenas 11.3, is there a way to import the xml file generated frmo the 7.3 release?

I doubt it. The software currently known as TrueNAS, formerly known as FreeNAS, has been its own thing since the release of 8.0 in 2011--and it was at that time completely new software, totally unrelated to the project known as FreeNAS prior to that time (which was, at that time, somewhere around version 0.7). The project previously known as FreeNAS, then NAS4Free, and currently XigmaNAS, has been doing its own thing for 12 years or more. The iXSystems project, which is what this forum is about, has always used sqlite for its configuration database and has never supported XML configuration.
