Hello everyone,
I recently picked up 4x IBM 49Y4202 Dual port Emulex 10Gb cards and the corresponding Passive DAC cables to connect the systems in my rack to the primary FreeNAS system I am trying to get going. However upon booting the FreeNAS system (Latest stable release 9.2.1.8? as of 11/04/2014) I get MQ create failed and the system stops booting at this point.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if there may be a solution or alternate to try instead of FreeNAS.
Now I have seen throughout the forums that FreeNAS has issues using the Emulex cards so I am just going to cross my fingers and see if anyone has any suggestions. Even if thats using a different NAS software package. All the cards have been tested and found to work in Windows Server 2012 R2 / Windows 8.1 with no issues. The only issue is getting the Freenas system to boot when the 10Gb card is installed.
