How to turn off "daily security run output"?

Under FreeNAS-11.2-U4 I am receiving daily emails at 03:00 of kernel log messages. Each email is about 1000 lines. I want to turn these email notifications off. The dashboard reports the system is healthy, and I'm having no problems with my system. Is there a place in the GUI to do this? If not, which config file should be edited?

I've searched on this topic, with a few messages 1-2 years old describing a bug to be fixed in future releases. This was the closest hit:

Should I edit /etc/default/periodic.conf and change daily_status_security_enable to "NO"?

Bad news: that edit won't survive a reboot.

Good news: that long awaited feature is coming in 11.3: https://jira.ixsystems.com/browse/NAS-100431.
