I have a Thecus N16000Pro I am attempting to get up and running. I was having a problem with the console text being completely garbled when booting it in UEFI mode. I found the solution to be hitting esc and typing "mode 2" at the OK prompt. The console works perfectly after that, but I can't seem to figure out how to make that change permanent. The same thread that I found that solution in suggested adding that line to /boot/loader.conf.local which I discovered you can't edit directly. I tried adding it as a tuneable, but it came out as mode="2" and didn't work. Is there another way I can add that line to the file, or a different command I should be running?

Thanks
