Hi There!
When installing FreeNAS 9.10.2-U2 on Dell R630 server with PERC H730 RAID Controller (switched to HBA Mode)
The disks are being installed with MFI (mfisyspd) drivers

I'm trying to change the drivers to MRSAS with no success.
I trying to do as it said on FreeBSD official mrsas page

Code:
	 Using /boot/device.hints (as mentioned below), the	user can provide a
	 preference	for the	mrsas driver to	detect a MR-Fusion card	instead	of the
	 mfi(4) driver.

	   hw.mfi.mrsas_enable="1"

	 Alternatively, to load the	driver as a module at boot time, place the
	 following line in loader.conf(5):

	   mrsas_load="YES"

However, FreeNAS keeps using MFI drivers although I've make the change
Any idea what is the reason for that? as I missing something here?

It looks like only the PERC H730P is capable of using that driver, I may be wrong but I don't seem to be able to find documentation on the H730 using it. If everything was working before, why are you changing it? There may be a solution to whatever issue there was that we can solve without going about it this way.

Use [System]->[Tunables] and add these two variables in. However, S.M.A.R.T. may not work.
