Simple question

Hom many RAM memory I need for UFS and AD authorization?

The usual answer is a minimum of 8GB and 1GB of RAM per 1TB of storage, I don't believe AD authentication requires any specific amount of RAM.

However, those minimal requirements are targeted towards ZFS systems. The OP asked specifically about UFS.

I think I remember reading somewhere to allow 2 extra gigs of ram when enabling AD.

So add that to whatever ram a ufs system needs. I'm not sure what bare minimum ufs requirements are. Maybe 2 gig as well?

So for ufs + ad, I'd start at 4 gigs of ram, and go from there.

I'd say start with at least 4GB, but be prepared to potentially upgrade to something around a maximum of 8GB(think enterprise size domain most likely).
