Ho to open ISCSI file after USB flash died

Hi. Does anybody know how to recover data from iSCSI volume in case FreeNAS8 USB died and there is no config backup. Since I had 1 drive configuration with UFS, it's easy to recover all data. And I grabbed with R-Sudio the 150Gb file without extension that is my iSCSI volume. I suppose that all data is still there but it's not clear how to extract them out. Any ideas are more than welcome.

Can you just install freenas and boot the system to get access to it line you normally would?

Seems like you should be able to mount that as a disk image on any *nix based OS.

Thanks for replies. Issue solved. I reinstalled Freenas, enabled iSCSI and set the file as Extent. iSCSI volume mounted and I see all content!
