I had an active CIFS share in Freenas8 pulled out the OS flash drive upgraded to a new version intending to destroy the old volume and create a new one.
To my suprise when I booted up the new OS (the old configs where NOT saved btw) my old CIFS share was still active in windows.
When I try to create a new share none of the disks show up as options in the volume manager (I suspect because freenas has them reserved for the old volume some how)
I can't delete the old volume because it doesn't show up in the UI.
I'd greatly appreciate any advice.
