Used to be in the IT Industry, and worked on Solaris 9 a few years ago. Learnt the basic about ZFS and thought it was great, especially since it was shipped with Solaris 10.
Left the Industry and I'm a handyman now.
Our small 1 disk home NAS packed up and I thought this would be a great time to install a ZFS file system at home. Eventually did this and have had my server running for about 2 years now, just running as network storage.
The reason I wanted ZFS, Self-healing.
Joined the forum, cause it broke and I'm a bit confused as to a possible repair procedure.
