I went to connect to my CrashPlan install today from my Windows machine and all of a sudden it's decided it doesn't want to connect.

I went and checked the settings and it decided to change the port to 4245, so I changed the port in ui.properties, but no luck!

I then rebooted FreeNAS and it's back on port 4243! Still can't connect though.

jexec crashplan_1 sockstat -4 shows a bunch of java services on port 4243

I can connect to 4243 via telnet (it just gives a blank screen, doesn't say cannot connect).

FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201506292130

Not sure what happened. I haven't updated anything recently and this was working perfectly yesterday.

Any ideas?

There is nothing in engine_error.log.

The CrashPlan client on my Windows machine also doesn't time out. Normally when I've had trouble in the passed, it would pop up a message saying it can't connect with a little retry button. In this case, nothing pops up at all, it just sits on the green CrashPlan splash.

Thanks.

Phew. Yes, copying .ui_info from /var/lib/ to C:\ProgramData\Crashplan did the trick.

Thank you :)

Edit: I am now getting 'waiting for connection' on CrashPlan which I've never had before.

Edit 2: ignore that. The connection issue was my fault, left something in that I tried earlier.
