[help] no swap space on gui

hello all

i fresh install for the first time freenas.
my system is build on ml310 gen8. celeron G1610, 8 gb ram, ssd 240g for boot on usb and 1TB hardrive

i have 2 issues.

first on gui wen i go to storage the option swap space don't appear
second i trying to install hp-asm but seams that on freebsd there's no package for it


any one can help?

First, swap space is created according to the setting in System -> Advanced on each disk that you create your data pool on.
Second, you cannot install additional software on FreeNAS itself. This is an appliance with a fixed though evolving feature set. There are two virtualisation technologies available that enable running applications: a full-featured hypervisor and a lightweight container environment. See Virtual Machines and Jails, respectively.
