Hello,
I'm trying to setup FreeNAS and regardless of how I setup volumes, users shares 'anything' I cannot access the shares from my PC.
If I'm unlucky then it tells me I don't have permission to even view the shares and if I'm really lucky I can get as far as mapping shares but then get permission denied if I try to create a folder or file.
I have tried every setting I can see.
Can it be that the only way to use FreeNAS is to have no security whatsoever!!!
I just want ONE user with access to a folder (machine is on domain but I do not want the freenas to be part of the domain)
I'd rather not strip off all security as I don't want other users on the domain to be able to access the freenas.
Banging my head against a wall here!
