Hi all,

I've just signed up to learn a bit more about freenas, previously ive only used windows based server systems but decided I would like to build a low power mini-itx based system for serving media around the home.

I assembled my first build over the weekend but found my lack of knowledge to be a big hinderance resulting in being unable to stream anything smoothly. Im not sure if its the hardware or the freenas configuration but hopefully I'll learn a few things on here.
