Hello to all in this great community. I just wanted to introduce myself after years of lurking and learning and extend thanks to you all for the great information that is out there about FreeNAS. My build is now two years old and it has been one of the most rewarding hobbies that I have had in recent memory. I am technically apt (Software Architect by trade), but I have never assembled a PC prior to this let-alone stood up my own server from assembled components. The information in this forum is what allowed me to do that successfully simply by absorbing the body of knowledge already present.
The time has now come for me to upgrade my storage capacity so I thought it a good time to start interacting with the community and hopefully have a chance to contribute from my experiences with versions 11.1 and 11.2 as well as gather more knowledge as I continue to improve my ongoing build.
