I found this forum just last night and since I intend to build a FreeNAS computer I thought this Forum just might be a good resource. I am rejoining the world of IT after a 12 year absence. How things have changed!
A self employed IT consultant gave me a couple of old PC's and a Proliant DL380 G1. Well the Proliant really captured my interested and it just so happened that Craigslist had some listed. Long story short I now have 2 of the Proliant DL380 G4's and a bunch of hard drives (40?) for less that $300.
This should be fun .
