HDD LED flickers once after power on but nothing else

Built my first pc but nothing happens when I turn it on, the only thing that happens is the HDD LED will flicker once and won't do it again unless I dissconnect the power and press the power which will only cause it to flicker again, I've made sure that connections are proper and fitted correctly, I really don't know what to do.

Take it back to basics.

Board with only RAM and CPU installed with power connected. Does it boot?

No, I've tried that to no success

Then it may be RAM, CPU or the Power supply.

See if the mobo manual says anything about one flash of the led.

Lmao I took it round to my dad's and he managed to fix it, turns out I put some cables in the wrong places, thanks for replying tho
