I am attempting a GUI upgrade from 8.2.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 (r11950) to 8.3.0-RELEASE-p1-x64 using the .TXZ image as listed in the instructions on the download page at SF. I've provided the SHA256 checksum but then the upgrade process simply returns back Error: The firmware is invalid. What gives? Is there any sort of hardware reference or component that would be invalid because my FreeNAS system is running on ESX5?
Can I perform an upgrade using the full FreeNAS-8.3.0-RELEASE-p1-x64.iso image?
