Hello again,
i'am still trying to get my first FreeNAS Server running stable. Server is setup and runnig ok so far.
Latest task was integrating UPS (APC) and test correct shutdown. Before real life test,i did a normal command line shutdown to verify the command.
shutdown -p now
-- worked well, system was shutdown in an correct manner, but reboot failed.
This is the second time i run into this problem.
System is booting up until grub - Welcome screen - stays for a few seconds - and the system reboots. This loops forever. (see atached screenshot)

On first occasion, i did a reinstall using the USB-Install stick with the 'upgrade' option. This was running fine so far.
Well, the setup is not usable in production like it is now.

My Setup:
FreeNAS 11.0-U4
MB: Supermicro X11SAE-F
CPU: Intel Pentium G4600
RAM: 16 GB ECC Kingston

FreeNAS is installed on mirrored SSD Disks
SSD-1-OS: I-SATA0 120 GB Kingston Now UV400 2,5", TLC
SSD-2-OS: I-SATA1 120 GB Kingston Now UV400 2,5", TLC

What's wrong with this setup?

hello DL,
no, unfortunately not. As on the first occasion, reinstall from USB-Stick with 'upgrade' option fixed the situation.
But, this doesn't solve the problem because i have no idea what's the root cause!
Well, actually, i decided to stop testing with freenas and go on with OmniOS and napp-it for a reliable solution.
