Hello,
I'm newbie in Freenas.
I have for the first time installed a v11.2-U5 in july 2019, and since this moment, everything was ok.
The system is installed on a sata disk and the storage is a 24slots bay with Supermicro motherboard.

Following the lockdown, I decided to shutdown the system as it has to stay like this for a long time.
Last week I tried to restarted it ... but it doesn't start anymore...

I can see the Bios start with a lot of disks recognized :

(as you can see, it seem that one of the 24 disks is not seen, in the slot6-ID9...)

After that, I have a lot of error messages :

Next, the text is freezed and nothing happen after...
So I don't know how to take control and launch some tools to diagnose anything. What can I do ?
If one of the disks of the Array is crashed, I thought I could normally start and see the array in default. Why nothing start ? Is it an error on the system disk itself ?...

Thanks in advance fo any help.

Are you booting from USB? If so, your USB stick likely died. They are prone to do that, even faster when they are USB 3.

Coming back from this is simple.
- Get an inexpensive SSD, for example Intel 320 40GB can be had for 15 bucks
- Connect that to on-board SATA
- Install a fresh copy of FreeNAS to the SSD
- Restore a backup of your config file. If you didn't consciously take one, a daily backup is in the .system dataset, which by default is on your data pool, and will be mounted in /var/db/system. /var/db/system/config-xxxx has sub-directories with daily backups.
