I suggested he install Ubuntu but it is quite a bit more work to setup / maintain if you do not have a clue what you are doing.

As for your Windows comment....I will pretend you didn't suggest that.

@JakeHiltz We agree then :) , my Windows suggestion was based on the fact that the poster might know Windows and that would make it easier for him administer and run.

i just stumled against openmediavault trough debian ; i will give that a try aswell :)

tbh my linux skills are limited but i tend to trail and error

i gave up after 2weeks of trying 2-3hrs a day on ubuntu make the AMD stuff work ...
it was to new and after 2 weeks of trying giving up then is still an accomplishment in my eyes :p :D

@Michael I have to agree . Sometimes I forget its the most popular choice.

@HansP Openmediavault is a good choice for you. I have used it and would recommend it.
