I created a clone of a virtual machine because I thought I had a corrupt OS, turns out I didn't. I never went back to the original dataset and have been using the clone for a few weeks. I never promoted it. I just mounted it as the OS disk in bhyve. So now I have a clone with a bunch of changes and I am not sure how to preserve my changes and get back to a single dataset.
Is there anyway to merge, unclone, or whatever to get back to having just one main dataset but with all the changes in the clone?
