FTP access via AD

I am trying to setup a FTP share on my FreeNAS unit and I would like to apply permissions to the share via Active Directory, but I am unable to get it working. My CIFS shares do correctly set permissions via AD. If I set the permissions using a local account that will work, but as soon as I tell it to use a AD based account or group I can no longer access the FTP share content.

I don't mess much with FTP, but if you use SSH/SFTP you can authenticate with AD credentials.
