Hi,
I try a fresh install on a motherboard gigabyte MX32-4LO (https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Server-Motherboard/MX32-4L0-rev-10/sp#sp)
on TWO ssd drives (/dev/ada0 and /dev/ada1)
I use Freenass 11.3 U4. I made a bootable usb stick with dd command as explain here (https://www.ixsystems.com/documentation/freenas/11.3-U4/install.html)
I select ada0 AND ada1 for boot installation.
The installation went smoothly apparently.
When I boot on my new freenas I get stuck on mount root

"Trying to mount root from zfs: freenas-boot/ROOT/default"
"start devd"

I found the workaround (https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/workaround-semi-fix-for-mountroot-issues-with-9-3.26071/)
It is said "Apparently, for whatever reason, there is a small bit of time/lag that occurs between when the GRUB takes over, and when your thumb drive is *actually* accessible in a /dev/da0 context."
1/But for me the boot device is on a sata motherboard bus not an usb.
2/ I never but never saw the grub console interface.

How can I investigate this problem?

PS:
I already manage to install two freenas on two others hardware and older version (11.1 et 11.2) without any problem.

So I made a fresh install with older version of freenas: 11.2-U8.
I boot and now I got an IP but can't ping it, and so can't connect to the webgui.
The boot screen hang at "starting devd"
