Fresh Install, cannot SSH or access web interface.

I installed TrueNAS-12.0-U4.1.iso on a VM to test.
But I was sad to see that it did not allow me to either SSH, or access web interface. What else is needed?

1)SSH err:
>
C:\Users\RJ>ssh 192.168.44.130
ssh: connect to host 192.168.44.130 port 22: Connection refused

2) from the browser it gives me this error:

http://192.168.44.130/ui/sessions/signin

Connecting to TrueNAS ... Make sure the TrueNAS system is powered on and connected to the network.

Why is this issue? Can anybody guide please.

this can be closed.

web intfc worked after I increased RAM from 1GB to 4GB
SSH worked after i bind it in SSH service section to the em0 intfc.

learning is on....
