Hello,

Yesterday i upgraded from 11.2rc1 to 11.2-rc2. while restarting i noticed 11.2 rc2 didn't show up in the boot environment in grub. Then i deleted Some older environments, and then got stuck at grub. Error no such device: xxx

Installing works fine, selected the SSD (where perviously fn was installed, Did a format on it.
When complete restarting i get to grub, and got stuck on: error no such device: xxxxxx
Entering rescue mode.

Who can help me with this?

Hardware:
Asus p10s-i with i3-7100
SSD is a vertex2 60gb
Jail SSD Samsung 850 250b

Something strange is going on there... 11.2 uses the FreeBSD bootloader, not GRUB as far as I was aware.

I used the installer formatting tool. (Maybe not working correctly)
Plan:
Detach all other disks exept boot drive.
Run Linux live CD and format boot drive.
Reinstall FN 11.2-rc2

This is correct, if you are greeted with grub on boot there is something fishy going on. Maybe try to zero the device on another system first before re-installing?
