I have a machine running FreeNAS 11.2-U5. This is sharing several shares via Samba (SMB).
I recently upgraded one of my Macs to MacOS Catalina.
Now, when I browse to one of the FreeNAS shares on that machine, the MacOS Finder appears to hang when viewing SMB shares on FreeNAS.
I tried Googling, and can’t see any reported issues like this around Catalina and SMB.
So I thought maybe it was something specific to FreeNAS’s version of Samba, or our default configuration etc.
Has anybody tried FreeNAS with MacOS Catalina and Samba shares?
Or any advice on how to troubleshoot this from the FreeNAS side?
