FreeNAS server to Google Cloud Messaging Server

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a project and was wondering if anyone could help me. I plan on making a server using the FreeNAS software and from this server I want to be able to send information to an Android application I am developing. Instead of sending the information directly to the Android application from the FreeNAS server I was planning on sending the information to the Google Cloud Messaging Server then sending it to the Android Application.

I have been looking online and have yet to find any information on whether this is possible. I was wondering if anyone had any information on if this type of connection can be done.

As you can read here, you can do it using JSON's requests through PHP or other platform you want. You should verify the new API documentation because the post is a bit old.
