Our FreeNAS box sometimes when run replication self restart. How can I diagnose this - where can I found any information, why FreeNAS restart the system ?

Thanks

What kind of replication? Incremental? What kinds of volumes are the source & destination? Started via GUI or command-line?

If it's not a kernel panic, I'd expect something in /var/log/messages. There might still be something there if it's a kernel panic.

What kind of hardware are you running? Processor? RAM? ECC?

in the messages I see not any kernel panic.
Replication start from GUI , replication is incremental, ZFS volume with LZ4 compression.
The repalication run 3 mounts - this restart is not always, I cannot found any rule.

Moved to the noobie section of the forum... this isn't a feature request.

Thanks for the answer - after move I had no any next information, ... :-(

I try update to new version FreeNAS 9.2.1.8 - after this run all OK - no more any restarting system.
When anyone can answer me, why replication send lot of date (GB), when no exist any new date on the snaphot.

Jaro.

Replication is only incremental when you ask for an incremental update.

It also requires both the previously replicated snapshot and the current snapshot to be present on both datasets. Otherwise it doesn't know the starting point for the incremental update.
