FreeNAS FTP

Hello ixsystems community!,

i need some assistance regarding FreeNAS FTP, i have installed FreeNAS on my server. I want to setup FTP so that i can access my server from other network locations (ie. School, Work) PC. i have setup port forwarding on my router. but it does not work when i try to use my mobile data to connect to my IP address. Any assistance is appreciated.

Literally any other protocol would be better than FTP for this purpose. I'd probably vote for a Nextcloud installation, but SFTP would be another option that's both workable and secure (and FTP is neither).

But i entered my IP address it does not load but instead it just give white screen. what am i doing wrong?

Re-read my previous post:
