My FreeNAS has been running smoothly for some time now, but today all of a sudden (no reboots, config changes or anything funny), all the machines accessing it through NetBIOS (mapped drives or not) couldn't see the NAS anymore.
\\ipaddress\share works fine, so I was able to quickly fix this. It's strange and annoying though that the NAS now doesn't show up in many programs' network maps, for example.
All machines in this setup are Windows, be it XP, 2003 and W7. They can all still see each other's netbios names and shares, so there's nothing going on there - it must be the FreeNAS machine that's being weird.
Any ideas what can be causing this?
