I'm seeing issues with FreeNAS being unable to mount a USB HDD when FreeNAS is a VM guest.

Have any of you figured out how to mount a USB HDD to FreeNAS 8?

It's not an issue when I present the same USB drives to Ubuntu, Openfiler, or Redhat.

What version of FreeNAS are you using and how are you trying to mount the disk? From the command line? GUI?

The version can be found in the GUI on the system information page, below the FreeBSD version 8.2 line.

I'm using FreeNAS 8.0.1Beta4 AMD64.

Once the USB drive is connected, I get the following message in the console:
"uhub_reattach_port: port 1 reset failed, error=USB_ERR_TIMEOUT uhub_reattach_port: device problem (USB_ERR_TIMEOUT), disabling port 1"

Thus, no device shows up in /dev for me to mount.
