Freenas 8.3 - How to convert video on fly

Hello,

I have build a server with Freenas 8.3. I installed already the plugin minidlna. All it's working correctly, but i Have some difficulties to watch movies on my Ipad, beacause there is some freeze.
So my Idea is to allow the NAS to convert video on fly.
But i don't know how to do that?

Did someone can hep me?
