Hi guys,
I've been trying to get freenas and minidlna setup for about a week now without any luck.
I'm using a HP N40L, 8Gb ram and 4 x 2TB drives.
I've got freenas installed on to an internal USB and that works fine.
I'm trying to get minidlna installed/working and I'm hitting a brick wall consistantly.
I do nothing other than follow this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4zIZX8pOas) which is very helpful. It all goes well up till I try to turn on the plugins service where I get a message saying 'the service could not be started'

Unfortunately I'm a Wintel sys admin and I'm stepping outside my comfort zone on this but I really think that this is the best solution for what I need ( storage for PC's plus access from my TV/PS3 ) rather than a windows install.
Any help you can provide would be gratefully accepted,
