FreeNAS-11.3-U4.1 GUI setting users in groups does not stick

Recently our FreeNAS has dropped users from groups in which they were previously members.
Therefore preventing these users from accessing certain folders within Windows Samba shares.
It seems to have happened with the U3 to U4.1 update.

Using the FreeNAS GUI / Accounts Users / Highlight User / > / Edit
brings up the normal dialogue box showing User name etc and Auxiliary Groups.
Clicking the dropdown shows the normal scrolling list with checks or unchecked.

Adding a check against a Group (placing this User in the Group) appears to function,
but when the edit of the User is Saved and then opened again, the check is no longer present.
And the User does not have the folder access permissions associated with that Group.

Sometimes when a check is added, a different check is lost when the User edit is opened again.
It behaves almost as if a User may not be a member of more than 19 Groups.

Somewhere I read that it may be a browser problem. We are using Firefox 79.0 x64.
Have cleared the browser cache, cleared cookies, restarted Firefox, does not help.
Any suggestions ?

We have solved the problem.
It seems that Firefox browser update 79.0 has broken something.
Microsoft Edge update 84.0.522.59 browser handles the FreeNAS user and group lists correctly.
