I'd say it is definitely a bug somewhere. There has already been a kernel memory leak bug found and fixed; but it may be something else entirely. I suspect an update is going to roll out soon.

Yes, it is free space fragmentation, but that's no excuse for the system to lock up.

You might want to review your storage setup, but that's a different story.

Uh oh, lol. Mind sharing what I am doing wrong? just a quick side bar, not to deviate from the main topic to much. But if you see something wrong, I'll be sure to fix it, Plex and Emby sit on those 2 mirrored SSDs, and they are pretty active IO wise as they manager a decent sized library, and they have been running for 2 years on the same mirror pool.

Eric - are you truly still running FreeNAS 9.10, or have you just not updated your signature lately?
Yes, I am. Didn't have the chance to update to 11.0 and it'll be a while before I update to 11.1.

Don't pay any mind to the free space fragmentation percentage. It should be either made useful or removed.
