I've been trying to backup a snapshort of my media volume to an external drives for the past several days, but since the pool keeps trying to resilver a drive, I get a couple faulted drives before the backup can complete, and the backup resets (using zfs send | receive). I want to just copy the files from my share to my pc over my network, but I'm unable to do that. How can I stop the resilver, to hopefully stop the errors, and move everything to my windows pc?

Running 6 WD reds in Z2 array, LSI 9211-i8 IT mode

Code:
pool: MediaVolume
 state: ONLINE
status: One or more devices is currently being resilvered. The pool will
continue to function, possibly in a degraded state.
action: Wait for the resilver to complete.
scan: resilver in progress since Thu Jan 18 16:22:41 2018
	   2.32T scanned at 3.66G/s, 23.7G issued at 37.5M/s, 2.32T total
	   504M resilvered, 1.00% done, 0 days 17:47:54 to go

You can just create a windows share and copy the data over. I would wait for that resilver to finish though. You have 2 driver that are messed up so you are super close to losing the whole pool. Maybe save off the super important information.

It is shared, I can access the files, but when I try to copy the files over, the only run at a couple MB/s, then it drops to 0 after a minute. A while ago I think I was able to transfer everything over at max network speeds. And the resilver never stops, it just keeps resetting, thus I want to copy my stuff over and rebuild the volume

Sounds like your pool is corrupt. Are there any smart errors? And since you didn't provide your hardware specs I'll assume they are not good and probably shouldn't be running FreeNAS in the first place. You also didn't provide your FreeNAS version so it's probably super old also. At this point with the info I have my suggestion is to just rebuild with reliable hardware.

FreeNAS 11.1. xeon 2670, generic intel mobo, 32gb ecc ram, seasonic 520W psu, 32gb usb boot drives raid 1. The files work, which is odd though. I'll get you smart results later
