FreeNAS-11.1-U5 - Replace of Mirror boot disk

Hello,

Does anyone remember if 11.1-U5 will replicate the boot sector of a replaced boot drive in a mirror?

I found a good reference to do this. I have a failing boot drive, and I need to replace it.
