FC iSCSI LUNs show up on host without extent/target map

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to using FreeNAS as an iSCSI SAN - I've got a Qlogic card in the box, and it's setup and working, what I find confusing is that when I add a zvol as an extent, my vmware systems pick it up immediately - shouldn't this not show up until I create a target/extent mapping on the next tab?

With this behavior I am unable to specify any LUNid's.

I used to use iSCSI over ethernet and it would never present any devices until the extent mapping was complete.
